Tamara Wolfson is a licensed acupuncturist with over ten years of experience in the healthcare industry. Her specialty includes osteopathic acupuncture with a focus on musculo-skeletal conditions, myofascial constriction and chronic pain, She has a thorough training in the use of acupuncture trigger point therapy and Oriental medical manipulation. In addition, Tamara focuses on remedial dietary therapy using a whole foods based diet as a vital aspect of any healing strategy. Over the past few years, she has taught holistic health and healing foods classes at the San Francisco Culinary Academy and at John F. Kennedy University and most recently for Whole Foods Market, Rainbow Grocery and the Embarcadero Farmer's Market. In addition, Tamara has completed over 17 years in Tibetan Buddhist meditation training, taught meditation for over five years on the east coast and brings her insight and experiences to her practice with techniques and suggestions for how to incorporate breathing and mindfulness into everyday life.
