Original Message: I'm a 44YO female with DDD & L5 Radiculopathy. I've exhausted all other non-operative treatments, (meds, injections, PT and Functional Restoration (FRP)) and still no relief. Additinally, FRP was delayed for 2 months after completing 4 weeks. While waiting for ins. approval I continued daily (5x week)exercises for 2 months them completed last 4wks. For a total of 4 months of continual exercises. Dr. reports state high functionality & flexibility and have exceeded most exercise expectations (ie; planks for 5 minutes, maxed on laying leg press, weight machines upper body = 100lbs and can do things even the PTs can't do. However, the pain is still the same and skills learned only provides temp relief (few minutes) and still can't stand, sit or walk without pain for more than 15 minutes. Need help to make that decision.
