What does this MRI reading mean:
1. At L4-5, there is mild spinal canal narrowing secondary to a combination of disc bulging and mild to moderate bilateral facet and ligamentous hypertrophy.
Additionally noted is an approximately 4mm. soft tissue material along the right lateral recess of L5, likely representing a sequestered disc fragment mildly compressing the thecal sac and abutting the traversing right L5 nerve root.
2.Mild broad-based disc-osteophyte complex at L5-S1. |
